Integrated territorial stategy

The Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Public Works and Head of the Managing Authority of the INTERREG - IPA CBC Programme between the Republic of Bulgaria and the Republic of North Macedonia, Mrs. Nina Stoimenova held a working meeting in Blagoevgrad with local authorities, NGOs, museums, community centers and civil society from Southwestern Bulgaria in connection with the Campaign launched on November 9 to gather project ideas for implementation within the Integrated Territorial Strategy, which is part of the Program.

Over 170 organizations from Bulgaria and the Republic of North Macedonia participated in five webinars of the campaign for collecting project ideas that will be implemented under the Integrated Territorial Strategy of the program for the period 2021-2027.

Over 170 representatives of branch associations, non-profit organizations, enterprises and municipalities took part in the five webinars held during the campaign for collecting project ideas for implementation within the Integrated Territorial Strategy of the future program for 2021-2027 during the period November 17-25, 2021.

Below is attached the agreed, by the Task Force Group, version of the Territorial Analysis of the Territorial strategy for integrated measures of the CBC - IPA programme between the Republic of Bulgaria and the Republic of North Macedonia, with reflected comments received during consultation processes.

The Territorial Cooperation Management Directorate, in its capacity as the Managing Authority of the INTERREG - IPA CBC Programme Republic of Bulgaria - Republic of North Macedonia 2021-2027, launched public consultations on the draft of programme’s Territorial Strategy for Integrated Measures.

The Programme will be funded under the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance - IPA II. The key priorities for funding joint cross-border projects are "Greener Border Region", "More secure and connected cross-border region" and "Integrated development of the cross-border region".
