Project summary:

FEMTERPRISE overall objective is to improve the conditions for business development in the cross-border area by applying innovative non-formal approach for strengthening the entrepreneurial capacity of female entrepreneurs aged 18-29 and fostering the creation of social enterprises.
FEMTERPRISE will research and identify potential female entrepreneurs, mentors, investors and business opportunities in the border area, empower 30 young women to successfully set-up their own enterprises and to provide innovative, sustainable solutions to social and environmental issues in the cross-border region by building their entrepreneurial, financial and leadership capacity, develop trilingual FEMTERPRISE online platform, promote entrepreneurial culture in the region by using ICT, impacting at least 3000 representatives of the target groups and establishing the cross-border FEMTERPRISE Network of Women Entrepreneurs. 
The project envisages multiple joint online and offline awareness-raising and promotion interventions as well as ICT cooperation for exchange of new ideas and fostering the creation of new social enterprises in the region.        
FEMTERPRISE will contribute to the improvement of the competitiveness of regional businesses by: 1) establishing a sustainable cross-border  FEMTERPRISE Network of Women Entrepreneurs; 2) strengthening the entrepreneurial capacity and creating opportunities for professional and social realization of young female entrepreneurs; 3)developing innovative, sustainable and supportive online tool for capacity building, mentoring and networking between female entrepreneurs, mentors, clients and potential investors from the cross-border region; 4) fostering the creation of female –run social enterprises in the region; 5)promoting entrepreneurial culture and social entrepreneurship.
