Enhancing Youth Entrepreneurial and Employment Potential through Networking and Capacity Building (Start-Up Academy Bulgaria - Macedonia)

The project focuses on the development of youth entrepreneurship to foster the generation of start-ups which could help improve the competitiveness of the regional economy.  The implementation of the project activities will motivate young people to start their own business endeavors.
The main project activities include: Research and analysis of the existing environment in the Cross Border area in relation to development of youth entrepreneurship; Youth Business Ideas Competition in Republic of Bulgaria and Republic of North Macedonia; Business Start-up and Advice YOUth Clubs; Capacity building programme on Youth Entrepreneurship (Start-up Academy Phase 1); Development, update and maintenance of a Web portal and Social Media  “Start-up Academy BG-MK”; Business guide “Start@up Smart” for young business enthusiasts; Production and promotion of motivational short videos in support of youth entrepreneurship; Discussion Forum “Developing and supporting Youth Entrepreneurship in the Cross Border area – challenges and opportunities” in Bulgaria. Enhancing cross-border partnerships between young people with entrepreneurial spirit through networking during cross-border events, trainings, web and social media tools.
