Project summary:

Project aims to support establishment of an integrated approach in the Crossborder (CB) area of energy production of renewables and wide introduction of energy efficiency solutions. Realization of the project will stimulate local business and will contribute for optimizing overall energy consumption and costs. One of the key objectives is to improve the awareness and raise the interest of the target group and stakeholders from CB area on decentralized energy solutions utilizing the potential of RES and their main benefits: environmental; economic (reduced costs and energy independence); efficiency (power quality and resilience); resource conservation (using of RES); reliability and security. In this regards the project will aim to promote the concept, main technologies and benefits for individual houses, business and public facilities.
The project will be implemented through work program containing among others information and awareness raising campaign  “Solar Rooftop” consisting of 6 information and awareness workshops; Solar Investment guides for three type of users –private households, SMS’s public institutions; Web portal – “EnerGain” home energy and advice web-site and educational movies – an elaborate online resource that will provide potential users with present day information and competent advices on modern solutions for energy efficient and environmental friendly home, business or a public building; Joint specialized trainings of RES technicians and engineers - part of Capacity building, experience and exchange of know-how programme for professionals and practitioners in the field of RES and EE; as well as E-Learning Training Programme “EnerGAIN”. 
All of the abovementioned will contribute for improving the capacity for environmental protection and sustainable use of common natural resources in the CB area.
