Ministry of Local Self-Government (MоLSG), as National Authority (NA) of the INTERREG IPA Cross-Border Cooperation Program between the Republic of Bulgaria and the Republic of North Macedonia for 2021-2027, held three public consultations regarding the Strategic Environmental Assessment Report (EAR), according to article  61, 69 and 70 from the law of the environment and the decree on public participation in the preparation of regulations and other acts, as well as plans and programs in the field of environment (Official Gazette of the Republic of Macedonia "147/08 and 45/11)

The public consultations were realized through hybrid events (live and with online access) in the three centers of the planning regions, as follows: on 7.02.2022 in Kumanovo for the interested subjects from the Northeast planning region, on 8.02.2022 in Stip for the interested subjects from the East Planning Region on 9.02 2022 in Strumica for the interested entities from the Southeast Planning Region.

On this public consultations were presented implemented activities and the prepared draft documents in the period 2019-2022 related to the new programming period 2021-2027, the Draft INTERREG IPA Cross-Border Cooperation Program between the Republic of Bulgaria and the Republic of North Macedonia 2021-2027 and the Draft Territorial Strategy for Integrated Measures and the Draft Strategic Environmental Assessment Report for projects within the INTERREG IPA Cross-Border Cooperation Program between the Republic of Bulgaria and the Republic of North Macedonia for 2021-2027.
