To November 17, 2021, INTERREG IPA CBC Bulgaria - Republic of North Macedonia 2014-2020 Programme is being implemented at a good rate and the financial results are a guarantee for the implementation of the programme objectives, as for 2021 the absorption of funds fully covers the target set by the European Commission under the "n + 3" rule.
73 subsidy contracts and 6 technical assistance contracts were concluded with a total value of EUR 19.9 million, representing 102.47% of the total programme’s budget including the approved overcontracting.
The verified expenditures amount to EUR 13.6 million or 70% of the programme budget and the certified amount to EUR 13.2 million or 68% of the programme budget. Payments of EUR 14.7 million were made under the programme, representing 76% of its total value.
