On April 23, 2014 in Skopje, Republic of Macedonia held its second meeting of the Joint Working Group (JWG) for preparation of cross border cooperation programme between Bulgaria and Macedonia 2014-2020.

The main topic on the agenda was the presentation of the program strategy and review and approval of the thematic priorities.

As a result of discussions were conducted chose the following three priorities: 

- TP 2 Protecting the environment, promoting climate change adaptation and mitigation, risk prevention and management

- TP 4 Encouraging tourism and cultural and natural heritage;

- TP 7 Enhancing competitiveness, business environment and the development of small and medium-sized enterprises, trade and investment

 Special emphasis was placed on the need to stimulate the participation of young people from trans - border region in the implementation of the selected priorities.
