In accordance with Article 133(5) of Commission Regulation (EC) No 718/2007, the Commission services would like to inform you that all the operations related to the closure of the IPA CBC Programme Bulgaria-the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia 2007-2013, CCI 2007CB16IPO007 and assistance in reference have been carried out.
Consequently, the starting date of the three-year period during which the supporting documents in relation to the above-mentioned assistance must be kept available in accordance with Article 134(1) of Regulation (EC) No 718/2007 is to be fixed at 14 December 2020, which corresponds to the payment of the final balance.
Kindly note that the three-year period could be interrupted either in the case of legal proceedings or at the duly motivated request of the Commission.
We may remind you that this notice does not prejudice the Commission's right to initiate any financial correction procedure under Article 138 of Regulation (EC) No 718/2007 and mutatis mutandis under Articles 99 and 100 of Regulation (EC) No 1083/2006 as a result of the findings of any audit of the expenditure declared in relation to the assistance in reference.
