5.       Reason for cancellation

The tender procedure is cancelled on the basis of point 2.6.13 of PRAG (the economic or technical data of the project have fundamentally changed). In particular the Contracting Authority decided to change the approach for carrying out of some of the events that led to financial and technical changes in conditions of tender procedure. Given that the price of these events is included in the total estimated value, there is no way to determine how much the cost of the contract shall be reduced. The change in the scope and price of the procurement is essential and leads to situation in which other potential participants could also be interested in participating in the procedure.

Should a new tender procedure be launched for this project, a new contract notice will be published, unless the contracting authority awards the contract through a negotiated procedure – in which case only the award of the contract will be published.
