According to PRAG regulations point 2.4.13. “Cancellation of procurement procedures”, the reason of the cancellation of this tender is:

     The economic or technical data of the project have fundamentally changed.

The Technical Documentation i.e. Main Project (Tech. No. 05- 16/02) consists of unit, sub-total and total prices including 18% VAT. That means the total amount approved with the Subsidy Contract for works activities of 127.997,75 EUR is with VAT.

The reason for cancellation is directly related to the criteria of the INTERREG – IPA CBC Programme that all the contracts and payments within the Programme should exclude VAT for Macedonian beneficiaries.

Notes:

Should a new tender procedure be launched for this project, a new contract notice will be published, unless the contracting authority awards the contract through a negotiated procedure – in which case only the award of the contract will be published.
